Facials and Peels

Chemical peels, also known as chemical resurfacing, use a chemical solution to improve and smoothen the texture of the skin and to treat irregular pigmentation by removing the damaged outer layers of the skin. Chemical peels have been used for hundreds of years. Depending on the patient’s skin type and degree of damage, different agents and concentrations are  used. These peels include lactic acid, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid.

How does it work?

Various solutions have different effects and penetrate into different depths of the skin. The precise formula may be adjusted to meet each patient’s need. These peels are used for the treatment of skin damage caused by sun (photo-aging), wrinkles, scaring,  acne, precancerous lesions, and skin discolorations. When performing a Medical Chemical Peel, by using higher concentrations of these well balanced acids, medical providers can generate a significantly better outcome.
